GHSA Playoffs: McIntosh Edges Woodward Academy in 5A Playoff Opening Series
April 29, 2021
Game One
Game one saw a pitching duel on both sides of the field as '21 RHP Davidson recruit, Braxton Roop, got the start for McIntosh, and Uncommitted '21 RHP Aaron Corbin for Woodward. Early on, it looked like this would be a high-scoring game, as both teams put up runs early, but both arms settled in and kept the runs to a minimum as the game progressed.
The action started in the top of the first inning as '23 SS Georgia commit, Trey King, lead off the game with a walk. He would come around to score on a Joe Pressel RBI SAC fly.
