Massachusetts Spotlight Game: Pingtree vs Nobles
In a non league game, 2-4 Noble and Greenough School took on the 4-7 Pingree School at Bentley University for the first time this season. A young, talented Nobles team showed some serious pop in their bats which hopes for a bright future.
In the bottom of the first Nobles had a spark produced two runs coming from a couple of singles from junior DH Jason Medeiros and senior OF Phil Barnett (Williams commit) scoring junior IF/RHP Dylan McNary and Medeiros himself.
Pingree’s senior RHP Jack Landers was able to throw a pair of scoreless innings keeping the game close before Nobles got some base runners who with some aggressive baserunning made the game 7-1 at the end of 4.
Pingree’s senior 3B Matthew Suny came back in the top of the sixth with a single and was brought around the diamond with a couple of walks moving him forward and a single by sophomore OF Vito Visconti.
Nobles IF/RHP Dylan McNary was able to get out of the jam with two strikeouts and quickly closed the door sitting down the top of the Pingree order.

- Phil Barnett, Sr, OF/RHP (Williams commit) - long slender gamer that has the ability to hit to all fields. Had a hit and a couple stolen bases on the day.
- Jason Medeiros, Jr, DH - player with a strong build that has a simple linear swing. Lots of pop off bat. Had a couple stolen bases on the day. Natural competitor
