12/2018
2018 was a busy summer for Lee Sang, who continues to gain interest at the pro level with his skill set and athleticism. Lee Sang performed well this summer at East Coast Pro and is slated to perform at the upcoming PBR Super60 and Mid-Atlantic Procase. His electric bat will be one to watch this upcoming spring season for sure.
PBR Mid-Atlantic ProCase 2.10.18
Lee Sang was another who has shown tremendous growth since the last time we saw him showing off his ability at the PBR Future Games. Lee Sang continues to be an athletic prospect with a ceiling that continues to rise. He showed a smooth left handed swing at the plate power potential and more is there once he gets full lower half involvement. Its an athletic arm that was up to 92 from the outfield, one of the better velocities on the event. On the mound we saw more growth as Lee Sang topped out at 87 mph and there is more to come in the arm as he looks to be progressing properly. Unfinished and more to grow, exciting to continue to follow to see where he goes.
6.21.17 - Athletic and projectable frame at 5-foot-11, 175-pounds. Hits from a square set up at the plate. big leg kick load, Direct path at the plate with uphill finish and ability to drive ball in the gaps. Nice rhythm in swing, can get out out balance at times. Power potential with gap hitting approach. Exit velocity of 91. Works thru ball well in the outfield with clean exchange. Throws from an almost over the top slot with nice carry on throws that were accurate around the bag up to 82 mph. ---- On the mound, pitched stretch only. Average leg kick with hip load getting into backside with some drive through. room for better lower half involvement as clears hips more consistently. Loose arm action throwing from a high three quarter slot with cross body action. Fastball has slight run to the pitch up to 84 mph. Breaking ball has 1/7 shape with depth at 64-66 mph. Interesting projectable prospect.
2.12.17 - Lee sang has an athletic 5-foot 10, 170-pound frame.Very interesting 2019 athlete that will be one to keep an eye on. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Hits from a wider, slightly closed set up. He loads with deliberate leg lift into back side and gets to hitting position slightly closed. Strong hands at the plate from a shoulder position. Shorter, slightly uphill bat path with some extension through contact. Average bat speed with power potential. Not much lower half / backside involvement. His exit velocity is 80 and more is in there. From the outfield he shows athletic actions with a quick, longer, sound arm action from an almost over the top angle. Works thru the ball well and was up to 82 from outfield....Lee sang has an Athletic 5-foot 10, 170-pound frame. Sidestep delivery gaining momentum. He creates tilt with high glove side on separation. Sound arm action throwing from a high three -quarter slot. Lands slightly cross body, but does get some lower half involvement. Pitches with regular effort. Hides the ball well which makes fastball come out well. Fastball topped out at 78 and ranged 77-78. Slows down his arm on breaking ball with 2/8 shape and gradual, short action at 60-61. His changeup is 63-65 with fastball like arm speed and fade action on the pitch. Looks to have more in the tank.
