As the calendar quickly turns and teams begin to ramp up for their season's to begin in early March, we begin our coverage of the Maryland JUCO Conference with a preseason preview of all fourteen schools. In each preview, we will examine key players that return and those that have moved on or left the program, look at new faces, and finally take a sneak peak at what's ahead for the 2022 season. Today we continue our preseason previews with a look at the CCBC Essex Knights.

2022 Season Preview From Coach O'Connor

"In 2021 we were the youngest team in Region XX having 22 true freshmen on our roster, The 2022 Knights should have more power and a deeper pitching staff than we did in 2021. We look at blending a great freshman class and transfers with a solid returning nucleus. We hope for this team to compete for the Region XX title by the end of the year."
