Last evening finally brought somehat warmer temperatures, and the action on the diamond definitely heated up. It was a night of upsets as several teams in the PBR Power 25 went down to defeat.
No.15 Lafayette knocked off No.1 Lexington Catholic 6-0.
Whitfield Academy stunned No.5 PRP with a 4-3 victory.
Greenwood swept a double-header from No.17 Bowling Green
Bryan Station knocked off No.18 Madison Central 2-1.

Senior RHP Josh Dunn shut down the Lexington Catholic offense as Lafayette upset the No. 1 Knights.
(No.2) Woodford County 7 Franklin County 0
Senior JT O’Reel tripled and drove in 2 runs. Senior RHP Clinton Hollon allowed 2 hits and struck out 10 in 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win.
Whitfield Academy 4 (No.5) Pleasure Ridge Park 3
Andrew Patterson collected 3 hits, and Jacob Keeton and Ryan Ramey each added 2, as Whitfield knocked of PRP. Cameron Brussell picked up the win in relief of starter Nate Getzin, tossing 2 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball.

Dexter Cline singled home the go ahead run in the top of the 8th inning. Cline finished the night with 3 hits and 2 RBI, and Trevor Brewer added 3 hits as well.
Greenwood 4 (No.17) Bowling Green 1
Jake Riley had 3 hits, and Stephen Bratcher stroked 2 doubles and drove in 2 runs as Greenwood completed the DH sweep of Bowling Green. Tanner Kirby worked 6 innings to pick up the win.
Bryan Station 2 (No.18) Madison Central 1
Kollin Probst and Jacob Moore each collected 2 hits to lead Bryan Station. Brandon McIntosh picked up the win, tossing 4 innings of 1 run baseball.
(No.19) Covington Catholic 5 Newport Central Catholic 1
Ben Heppler picked up the win and Covington Catholic broke open a scoreless game in the 6th inning with 4 runs. Louisville commit Grant Schreiver delivered the big blow with a 2-run double.

Atherton 7 Portland Christian 1
Evan Dyer, Neil DeNicola, and Matthew Kruer each collected 2 hits to lead Atherton to victory. Junior Carey White allowed just 2 hits and racked up 13 K’s in going the distance to pick up the win.
North Laurel 2 Corbin 1
Sophomore Ethan Maxey homered to lead North Laurel. Weston Griebel went 4 innings to record the win, and sophomore Zach Hurley struck out 6 over the final 3 innings to pick up the save.
Boyle County 5 Danville 3
Boyle County broke a tie game with 2 runs in the 6th inning for the win. Conner Blevins and Brett Jones each collected 2 hits, and Brady Wehmiller drove in 2 big runs. Casey Whittle worked 6 innings to pick up the win.
Campbellsville 11 Bardstown 1 (5 innings)
Zach Durham had 3 hits, and Julian Pierce collected 2 hits and 2 RBI in the winning effort. Campbellsville freshman Austin Hash went the distance, racking up 7 K’s in his 5 innings of work.
Mercer County 6 Marion County 2
John Ingram went 2-4, helping Mercer County to a 6-2 victory over Marion County on Thursday at Marion County High School. Jackson Stoeckinger got the win for the Titans racking up seven strikeouts. Stoeckinger allowed no earned runs on four hits and two walks over 4 2/3 innings.
Garrard County 11 Casey County 0 (5 innings)
Senior Jacob Wix doubled, tripled, and drove in 4 runs to lead Garrard County to victory.
Shelby County 9 Gallatin County 1
Junior Kipp Moore doubled home 2 runs, and senior Kam Bruner had a 2 hit night to lead the Rockets. Bruner also picked up the win, allowing 1 run on on 3 hits over 6 innings.
Breckinridge County 3 Muhlenberg County 0
Casey Dowell collected 2 hits, and Cody Pile racked up 10 K’s in going the distance for Breckinridge County.
Conner 5 Lawrenceburg, IN 1
Blake Maines racked up 7 K’s in 4 innings to pick up the win. Cameron Fogle, Brady Padgett, and Blake Hart all drove in runs as Conner improved to 3-0 on the season.
Montgomery County 7 Rowan County 3
Sam Lee doubled and Jordan Nester drove in 3 runs to power the Indians to victory. Hobie Hall picked up the win.
Allen Central 5 Knott County Central 1
Tanner Hamilton drove in 2 runs for the Rebels. Hamilton was the star on the mound as well, allowing 0 hits and striking out 10 in 5 innings of work to pick up the win.
Knox Central 11 McCreary County 2
Zach Earls collected 3 hits. Drew Mills worked 5 innings with 8 K’s to record the win.
Nelson County 10 Campbellsville 6
Nelson County scored 4 runs in the 7th to break open a close game. Dylan Beasley went 4-4 and drove in 2 runs to lead the Cardinals offense to victory.

Sophomore Caleb Bruner threw a complete game 3-hitter with 9 K’s. Senior Cody Hunt had 2 hits and Bruner added 3 RBI to lead the offense.
