(No.3) St. Xavier 13 North Bullitt 0 (5 innings)
Senior LHP Ben Britt racked up 9 K’s in 4 innings of work to pick up the victory. Senior Andrew Hubbs went 3-for-3 with a double and 6 RBI to provide all the offense the Tigers needed. Seniors Gunnar Wagoner and Sam Melchior added 2 RBI each for St Xavier who stands at 5-1 on the season.
(No.5) PRP 10 Fairdale 0 (5 innings)
Greg Laughlin went the distance for the complete game shutout. Laughlin scattered just 2 hits over his 5 innings of work. Josh Beams went 2-for-4 with a 3B, and Jacob Clair added a double and 3 RBI to lead PRP to the win.
Greenwood 3 (No.17) Bowling Green 0
Senior Dexter Cline threw a complete game, 2-hit shutout with 9 K’s to lead Greenwood to victory.
(No.24) Daviess County 9 South Spencer, IN. 2
Kyle Schneider and Walker Owens each had 2 hits to power Daviess County to the win. Schneider also took the win on the mound, racking up 8 K’s in 5 innings of work.
Kentucky Country Day 15 Shawnee 0 (5 innings)
5 KCD pitchers combined for 14 K’s in the 5 inning game. Daylen Norris collected 2 doubles, and Will Smith launched a 2-run HR to lead the offensive attack. Jacob Coury also tripled and drove in 3 runs for the Bearcats in the winning cause.
Clay County 15 Corbin 3 (5 innings)
Tyler Allen collected 3 hits and 5 RBI, and Jordan White homered and drove in 3 as Clay County handed Corbin its first loss of the season. Tanner Hoskins went the distance to pick up the win for Clay County.
Allen County 3 Warren Central 1
Michael Carter went the distance, striking out 7, to pick up the win. Jarrett Cockrill provided all the offense Allen County needed, collecting 2 hits and 2 RBI.
Shelby County 12 Williamstown 1 (5 innings)
Kam Bruner and Kevin Veeley each collected 2 hits, and Steven Standafer drove in 3 runs. Three Shelby County pitchers combined for a no-hitter with Riley Everson picking up the win with 8 K’s in 3 innings of work.
Taylor County 15 Hart County 9
Taylor County scored 10 runs in the first two innings and held on for the win. Jason Reynolds led the offense with 2 hits and 3 RBI.
Ballard 9 DuPont Manual 4
Sophomore Ricky West had a 2 hit night, and junior Trevor Putzig drove in a run with a double as Ballard improved to 4-1 on the season. Putzig also went 4 innings on the mound to pick up the win.
Bethlehem 10 Thomas Nelson 0 (6 innings)
Jimmy Keating picked up the win with 7 K’s in 3 innings. Jake Yates, Conner Ballard, and John Riney all had 2 hits apiece to lead the Bethlehem offense.
