On July 5, Prep Baseball Report-Missouri/Kansas held the MOKAN Summer Trials at LaRoche Field in Fort Scott, Kansas. Over 60 players on the 2021-2018 classes attended.
We will break down the event position-by-position, taking a look at the outfielders today. Player profiles have been updated with video, running times, throwing velocities and profile picture. Players are listed in alphabetical order.
Player's profiles have been updated with profile pictures, videos and stats from the event. Coaches will have new profiles to add their dashboard on ScoutPlus and players will be able to update information on their profile with ProspectPlus.

Outfielders
Zach Bass OF / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2019Bass is a 5-foot-11 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2019 class. He ran a 6.84 60 and has an exit velocity of 79 mph. At the plate, balanced stance, early in line stride, loose hands, body under control, loose hands, middle to pull side contact during batting practice. In the outfield, 84 mph positional velos, over the top arm slot, loose arm action, clean glove to hand trasnfer, plays through the catch, fluid footwork. |
Ty Blecha LHP / Shawnee Mission Northwest, KS / 2021Blecha is a lean and projectable 6-foot-2 148-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.50 60 and has an exit velocity of 77 mph. At the plate, athletic set up, smooth reverse to touch to load, minimal hand movement, slightly closed, middle of the field approach. In the outfield, 80 mph positional velo, loose high three quarters arm slot, athletic action, momentum through the catch, fluid transfer on time with footwork. |
Gunnar Joe Brown OF / Fort Scott , KS / 2018Brown is a 5-foot-11 155-pound switch-hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2018 class. He ran a 6.69 60 and has a left-handed exit velocity of 75 and right-handed exit velocity of 78 mph.
