The PBR MN Unsigned Sr. Showcase event took place on Sunday, August 20, 2017. The event was held at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul in Roseville, MN. The event featured prospects from the 2018 class who showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and college coaches in attendance.

Below we have listed the evaluations for all the outfielders who were in attendance at the event. 2018 Zach Breeden from Lakeville North showcased an solid/avg. arm, 94 mph exit velocity, and above avg. athleticism that should allow him to continue to develop through the year and into college. East Ridge's Noah Thomas is a well above avg. runner that has a knack for finding the barrel, producing consistent solid contact, and is sure handed in the outfield. Rosemount's Cole Kraemer has continued to mature physically, stood out with an 88 mph arm from the outfield, yet currently projects better on the mound.

OUTFIELD EVALUATIONS (ALPHABETICAL)

Ayrton Aust, RHP/OF, Coon Rapids, 2018
6-foot, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.14 runner. Open stance, leg kick to square, line drive swing plane, mid/away approach, consistent solid line drive contact, flashes of strength and pop in bat, 78 mph exit velocity. Clean compact arm action, solid athleticism, works through ball, sound mechanics, flashes accuracy and carry on throws, 79 mph arm from outfield.

Zach Breeden, OF, Lakeville North, 2018
6-foot-4, 205-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. #28 ranked player in state. Athletic projectable frame with raw strength. 6.8 runner. Open stance, weight inside knees, short to contact, decent path to contact, gap to gap approach, flashes bat speed and pop in bat, 94 mph exit velocity. Solid/avg. actions, has athleticism, mechanics and footwork are raw at times, throws have accuracy with solid carry to target, 81 mph arm from outfield. Multi-sport player,has solid tool set, should make considerable jump in college with instruction and development.

Tommy Deters, OF, Orono, 2018
5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. #93 ranked player in MN 2018 class. 6.9 runner. Slight crouch in stance with balance, stands up through contact, effects barrel consistency, flashes hard pull line drives, 80 mph exit velocity. Solid quickness in field, avg. actions, fields with 2 hands occasionally, works through ground balls well, solid arm with online throws that have accuracy and carry to target, 84 mph arm from outfield.

Brydon Hegarty, OF/RHP, Rogers, 2018
5-foot-9, 140-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.16 runner. Tall narrow stance, drops into hitting slot, some extra movements in swing, gap to gap approach, spray contact, avg. barrel skills, 79 mph exit velocity. Solid athleticism in field, works through ball, elevated throws to plate, avg. carry and accuracy to target, 76 mph arm from outfield.

Cole Kraemer, RHP/OF, Rosemount, 2018
6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Currently #90 in MN class; will make jump forward in 2018 rankings once updated. 7.01 runner. Square stance, body load, present strength, stacked hand setup restricts trigger, spray contact, flashes pop to pull side of field, 84 mph exit velocity. Shows arm strength from outfield, pie arm action, throws have carry and accuracy, solid athleticism, fields cleanly, long release, 88 mph arm from outfield.

Jonas Sanders, OF/RHP, Fargo North (ND), 2018
5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #114 ranked player in MN 2018 rankings. 6.96 runner. Pre-set weight, small hand load, avg. contact, some stiffness to swing, flashes hard contact, ground balls and line drives, with gap to gap approach, 85 mph exit velocity. Flashes solid actions in field, works through ball, quick release on throws, accurate to target, 83 mph arm from outfield.

Brandon Schultz, OF, St. Clair, 2018
6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. 6.95 runner. Compact build with strength, open stance, easy stride, high back elbow creates stiffness in swing, mid/away approach, shows raw strength to drive ball to oppo gap, 84 mph exit velocity. Avg. actions in field, long release on throws, solid glove, avg. routes, elevated throws to plate, 75 mph arm from outfield.

Logan Severson, RHP/OF, Coon Rapids, 2018
6-foot-3, 170-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.5 runner. Square stance, short load and stride, pushes barrel through zone, spray contact across whole field, 83 mph exit velocity. Tall fielding position, long release on throws, tends to throw flat-footed, avg. accuracy and carry to target, 79 mph arm from outfield.

Noah Thomas, OF, East Ridge, 2018
5-foot-8, 150-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. #62 ranked player in MN 2018 class. 6.69 runner. Compact swing, gap to gap approach, consistent solid line drive and ground ball contact, 81 mph exit velocity. Solid fielder, shows ability in outfield, appropriate routes and angles, has accuracy with quick release on throws, 81 mph arm from outfield.

Will Torgerson, OF, Breck, 2018
6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. 6.98 runner. Tall balanced stance, slight hand load, clean bat path, line drive swing plane, shows ability to use whole field, consistent solid contact, 87 mph exit velocity.
