#3 Liberty North 6, Liberty 0
Liberty North pounds out nine hits and six runs to get a convincing victory over Liberty. Conner Simpson was masterful earning the complete game shutout for the Eagles. He only allowed two hits while racking up six strikeouts. It was Simpson’s day as he also went 3-for-4 at the plate scoring two runs. Brian Sharp went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored. Brady Kaplan and Cale Hanson both had two RBI each.
Lee's Summit North 7, #6 Blue Springs South 4
Lee’s Summit North rallied in the top of the fifth for six runs and won the Eastern Jackson County Tournament. Nate Webb tossed four strong innings to pick up the win. He scattered six hits and struck out two. Miles Kilgore pitched three innings in relief, allowing only two hits and striking out three. Colton Pogue went 3-for-4 with a solo homerun for Blue Springs South. Matt Brumfield, Nick Gavin, and Dylan Carrender all had multi-hit games for the Broncos.
Logan Rogersville 2, Kickapoo 1
The Wildcats outlasted Kickapoo in extra innings. Bailey Jenkins went six innings allowing only three hits and striking out six for Logan-Rogersville. Kaleb Schmidt went seven innings allowing six hits and striking out five. Logan-Rogersville’s Tad Mitchell went 3-for-3 on the day. Garrett Jernigan drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning. Bailey Jenkins went 2-for-4 and added an RBI in the eighth.
Holt 15, Tory Buchanan 7
Holt’s bats started hot and stayed hot to outslug Troy-Buchanan. Austin Bennett picked up the win for the Indians scattering eight hits over 4 1/3 innings. The duo of Devin Pettit and Stephen Clark combined for four strikeouts over the remaining 2 2/3 innings of no hit baseball. Hunter Martin went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored for the Trojans. Tyler Mathys, Kyle Vance, and Austin Bennett all had multi-hit games for Holt.

Ft. Zumwalt West took the lead with a three-run top of the third and held off the Wildcat attack. David Wright tosses six innings scattering seven hits to earn the win. The Jaguars’ Danny Biggs came on in the seventh picking up one strikeout and nailing down the save. Westminster's Starter Luke Matheny went six innings allowing only five hits and racking up six strikeouts. Logan Andersen had a big day for Ft. Zumwalt West, he went 3-for-4 with a homerun and three RBI. Ethan Staskewicz also homered for the Jaguars.
