Over the next few weeks, our staff will periodically dive into each of our recently updated rankings and spotlight key players in each class. Today, we take a look at an intriguing righty in the 2025 class who opened a ton of eyes at this year's PBR Future Games.
RHP Brady Wardell (Conrad, DE) is quickly rising through one of the deepest and most talented classes across the Old Line State and Delaware. Jumping 5 spots, Wardell sees himself climb into the Top 10 for the first time. Nationally ranked in the Top 350, Wardell stands at a lean 6-foot-4, 195 pound frame with proportional strength throughout. Working out of a short, whippy low three-quarter slot, Wardell showcases consistent feel for the three pitch mix with intent for the zone. The fastball plays to the glove side into the mid to upper 80's, mixing in a tight, shorter shaped slider with swing and miss tendencies. The changeup is the "go-to" with two strikes; living towards the knees with late fade.
