It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our most recent update to the Maryland/DE Class of 2024 rankings with a look at players 26-100. Following today's release, we will unveil the Top 200 on Wednesday. Following the release of our expanded 2024 rankings, we will highlight new faces and big risers on Thursday and Friday.
A player who has shined each time we have seen him is outfielder Zack Molloy (Saint James). Fresh off of yet another impressive appearance at our Mid-Atlantic State Games, Molloy slides into the Top 30 for the first time. The metrics jump off the board (100 mph exit velo, 92 mph outfield velo) and the athleticism continues to impress.
Loved the rounds from ‘24 OF Zack Molloy (Saint James)

Physicality in the 5-9, 175 LB frame. Ball jumps to the pull side, creating lift and backspin to the gaps and alleys. Impressive strength

In early October, our staff held a PBR Scout Day with API Cavs, and it was our first extended look at middle infielder Carver Salazar (Archbishop Spalding). The actions were fluid and quick, showcasing strong, consistent line drive tendencies to the gaps and alleys at the dish. With an opportunity to win a starting job this Spring for perennial powerhouse Archbishop Spalding, look for Salazar's stock to sky rocket over the next few months.

One of our favorites from the Mid-Atlantic State Games is catcher Jaydden Espiritusanto (Dundalk). Entering the rankings for the first time, the physical backstop showcases an imposing presence in the box with a high power ceiling to the pull side.

You want bat speed and pure left-handed hitting strength? Look no further than first baseman Braydin Kurz (Mount St. Joseph). Producing an event best 97 mph exit velocity at the Canes PBR Scout Day in late October, Kurz impressed our staff all day long. The head stays behind the ball with an uphill path that generates a ton of torque throughout. As consistent AB's are produced, look for Kurz to elevate his name as one of the better uncommitted left-handed hitters in this class.
