Quickly approaching the next school year, recruiting is in cruise control. Programs are still wanting to add pieces to their program and shape their roster.  As a player, this can be a nerve racking time.  There is no need to panic, as coaches will be out to see you play. Control the controllable things and work on your game. 

PBR Maryland has been doing features throughout the summer highlighting players that have the ability to play at the college level. Today we focus on 2016 3B/SS/RHP Max Rogers of Mount St. Joseph’s.

Scouting Report

Max Rogers6.30.15 - Long athletic frame at 6-foot-2 190-pounds.  Athletic set up at the plate with short and simple stride/load. Level bat path with some bat speed.  Line drive type hitter with some pull side power potential.  Good balance in swing and could increase half involvement. Fluid footwork at third base with soft hands and a clean exchange.  Loose arm action from a ¾ arm angle across the diamond with carry on them at 81 mph.  Ran a 4.78 home to first and had an exit velocity of 91 mph. Ran a 7.45 60 yard dash.
