More than three months after the Unsigned Senior Games at Ohio State, Waverly's Pierce Knisley is now the top uncommitted arm in Ohio.
The 6-foot-3, 150-pound righty emerged in the middle of August as he showcased his projectable frame and a 84-87 mph fastball and gained further exposure this fall with the Huntington Hounds.
With the fall signing period approaching, Knisley is ready to name a favorite.
"I would have to say that Marshall is my leader," he explained.
This weekend, the Southeast Ohio product visited the Thundering Herd, leading one to believe his future college destination could be decided sooner than later.
Already, he has taken visits to Lake Erie, Cedarville, and Marietta.
He added, "Also, I went and watched Morehead's inter squad scrimmage."
Stay tuned for the latest on Knisley's college choice.
