Rain and cold temperatures meant a significant number of games cancelled around the state last week, but one team still managed to stand out in going undefeated in four games played.

McCracken County went 4-0 last week, putting their pitching depth on full display. The Mustangs began their week with a 10-0 win over Calloway County last Monday. McCracken would then travel to Murfreesboro, TN to play in the Riverdale Warriors Spring Classic, a tournament that featured 40 teams from five states.

The Mustangs opened play on Friday with a 10-0 defeat of Stewarts Creek (TN). They continued their dominance on Saturday with a 7-0 win over Decatur (AL) and a 12-2 rout of the host team, Riverdale (TN).

McCracken County, who claimed the No. 1 spot in yesterday’s updated Power 25, now stands at 8-0 on the season, having outscored opponents by a 77-10 margin.

For their performance on the field, the McCracken County Mustangs have been selected as the PBR Kentucky Team of the Week for March 23-28.
