Prep Baseball Report Kansas hosted the Kansas Summer Open on July 20th at Wichita State University with players coming from the 2022 class through the 2025 class.  53 players from across the state of Kansas as well as players coming in from Missouri, Oklahoma, and as far as California attended the event going through a pro-style workout.  You can click on any of the names to access the player's personal profile.

The top 60 time from the event was a laser timed 6.56 from 2022 grad Connor Earleywine.  Jackson Cross had the top time for the 2023 class at 6.88 seconds.  Brady Unrein posted an impressive 6.76 from the 2024 class with Isaac Lager coming in at 7.02 seconds leading the way in the 2025 class.

Drew Wardell from the 2022 class and Braden Horn from the 2023 class posted the top exit velocities off the tee at 89 mph.  Whit Rhodes posted the top exit velocity in the 2024 class at 86 mph and Nolan Fevurly and Hayes Allen topped the charts in the 2025 class at 82 mph.

Braden Horn had the strongest arm in the infield at 87 mph across the diamond.  Andrew Roth led the 2022 class at 82 mph with Whit Rhodes topping the charts in the 24 class at 79 mph and Nolan Fevurly at 72 mph in the 25 class.  Kade Sheldon from the 2023 class and Taccarri Brown in the 24 class had the top outfield arm strength readings at 85 mph.  Jaron Brown and Stone Elattrache tied for the top of the leader board in outfield arm strength at 82 mph.

Drew Wardell from the 2022 class and Carter Helm in the 2024 class posted the top arm strength readings from behind the plate on throws to second at 76 mph.  Adam Johnson posted the top catcher's arm in the 2023 class at 73 mph.  Carter Helm also posted the top pop time from the event at 1.87 seconds to second base.  Wardell, Braden Horn, and Adam Johnson each posted the top pop times in the 22 and 23 class at 1.91 seconds.

Mitchell Johnson had the top fastball at the event at 87 mph from the left side.  Brady Unrein posted the top fastball in the 2024 class at 82 mph with Zander Puthtoff and Dayton Pelfrey leading the way in the 2022 class at 80 mph.  Nolan Fevurly topped the charts in the 2025 class at 78 mph.
