The Top 3
JEREMY COMER OF / RHP / ST JAMES ACADEMY, KS / 2023
One of the top left-handed hitters in the country for the 2023 class, Comer had another big summer at the dish showing the ability to hit for power and average against some of the top arms in the country. Comers 6-foot-3, 185-pounds frame already has wiry strength and room to add much more.
KASEY CRAWFORD RHP / OF / OLATHE WEST, KS / 2023
The Oklahoma commit uses a Max Scherzer type arm action and slot to challenge hitters with a fastball in the upper 80's, reaching into the low 90's at times with heavy sink and arm-side run. Crawford mixes in a solid Changeup in the upper 70's that gets swings and misses and is still polishing his slider that, when right, shows tight and late depth in the mid 70's.
ASHTON LARSON OF / ST THOMAS ACQUINAS, KS / 2023
The Louisiana State commit shows a clean and pretty left-handed swing with a knack for finding barrels against elite pitching and shows juice to all fields. In the outfield, Larson shows a strong and accurate arm with carry that will play up at the corners.

The Risers
As with every season that goes by, many players take major leaps physically and developmentally. Below are some of the biggest risers since our latest rankings.
HARRY TRYBAN OF / SS / OLATHE EAST, KS / 2023
Tryban takes another jump in the rankings thanks to his measureables increasing again. Tryban now holds the honors of being the fastest player in the state posting a 6.57 and shows plenty of arm strength and barrel strength to make him a dynamic player.
TJ COATS 3B / RHP / BLUE VALLEY SOUTHWEST, KS / 2023
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Coats saw his 60 time drop to 7.19 and BP exit velo jump to 96 at the KS Fall Prospect Games, pushing him up the rankings. Coats also shows the hands, feet and arm strength to stick at 3B at the next level.
SETH DANDRIDGE OF / LHP / BLUE VALLEY SOUTHWEST , KS / 2023
Dandridge had a fantastic day at the Kansas Fall Prospect Games where he saw all of his numbers better considerably. Dandridge ran a 7.34, threw 86 from the OF, and posed a BP exit velo of 90 mph. Dandridge's clean left-handed swing will continue to play up at the next level.

The Newcomers
In the offseason, we found a couple of difference makers who earned their way into our rankings. All three of the prospects below enter the rankings in the top 30.
JT ADAMS RHP / OF / OLATHE NORTH, KS / 2023
Adams jumped on the scene at the Cavaliers scout day where he filled up the zone featuring a fastball up to 89 mph multiple times. Adams could continue to climb the rankings as he polishes up his off speed offerings and adds strength to his 6-foot-2 frame.
DONOVAN JOHNSON RHP / SS / SPRING HILL, KS / 2023
The 6-foot, 165-pound right-hander showed a solid three pitch mix, featuring a fastball in the mid 80s up to 86 and a slider in the mid 70s that flashed late depth. An athlete on the mound, expect more to come from Johnson.
JAMON BECK SS / SS / SPRINGHILL, KS / 2023
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound middle infielder shines defensively with quick twitch and smooth actions with an accurate arm across the diamond. Offensively the right-handed hitter has sneaky pop, producing 90 mph tee exit velos and a loud round of BP at the Cavaliers Scout Day.
