PBR: Why did you choose Ohio
Brosky: I chose Ohio University because I loved the campus, the education and the coaching staff.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Brosky: I was considering Youngstown State University and LaSalle University.
PBR: Where did the OU coaching staff first see you and how did your relationship begin with them?
Brosky: They first saw me at the Ed Santa Showcase and then Coach Wamsley started communication with me and invited me to the Ohio University prospect camp.
PBR: Coach Smith has brought the Bobcat program some recent success, how does it feel to be a part of the culture that will change Bobcat baseball?
Brosky: I am really excited based on the success Coach Smith has had since taking over the program and look forward to competing in the MAC and to have this opportunity to learn and play for him.
PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into the spring season?
Brosky: Individually, I want to improve my skills as a pitcher. Whatever my role will be on the high school team I want to help them reach their goals.
PBR: How does it feel to be a part of a Division 1 baseball program?

Brosky: My goal has always been to play at a Division 1 school and I was very impressed with Coach Smith's philosophy and pitching program. I am very excited to join the Ohio University baseball team.
PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?
Brosky: I play for Ohio Select 17U My most memorable experience was pitching a 2 hit complete game shutout, striking out 16 and walking no batters in my pitching debut in the semi finals of our first tournament. Another one was pitching another complete game in the Colt Super Regional in Greensboro, NC winning 6-1.
PBR: What person has the great impact on your baseball career and why?
Brosky: While my parents and my family are my biggest fans, Coach Scott Kacirek of Ohio Select has had by far the greatest impact on my pitching success. He has helped me to increase my velocity and to improve my secondary pitches, both helping me reach my goal of playing Division 1 baseball.
PBR: What were your stats this summer season?
Brosky: 33 innings pitched; 4-0 record; 1.48ERA; 1BB; 40Ks; .970 WHIP
PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you have faced?
Brosky: I have faced some tough hitters but the toughest hitter I have seen is my future teammate at Ohio University, Ryan Strittmather of Elyria Catholic.
