At the top of the outfielder rankings is Louisiana’s No. 1 overall prospect, Josh Pearson (West Monroe HS). The premium left-handed bat is a Louisiana State recruit and yet another in the long line of Pearson’s which has become one of Louisiana’s well known baseball families over the years.
Pearson is followed up by another Louisiana State recruit in No. 5 Joshua Stevenson (St. Thomas More HS), yet another well known baseball name around the state. Just behind the pair of LSU recruits are a pair committed to Louisiana-Lafayette in No. 11 Ian Montz (Acadiana HS) and No. 14 Mason Zambo(Catholic (BR) HS).
