POSITIONAL SCOUTING REPORT
Adamson has an athletic frame at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. Hits from an athletic, square set up. Has a simple load and soft stride to hitting position. Has a level swing path with some extension through contact with average bat speed. Does get lower half usage and lands slightly closed at times which could create better balance if lands more square and help backside work through to generate more pop. Exit velocity of 79mph. Has active feet in the infield. Sound actions in the field with soft hands and clean transfer to release. Has a short arm action with throws across the infield at 78 mph.
PITCHING SCOUTING REPORT
Pitches from stretch only. Throws from a three-quarter arm angle with a short sound arm action. Gets backside involvement in delivery and lands slightly toward the first base side. Fastball has slight sink to the pitch at 75-76 mph topping out at 77 mph. Breaking ball has good rotation with short 11-to-5 action at 65 mph. Change up has slight run to the pitch at 67 mph.
