Tommy Farrell had two hits and two RBI and St. Laurence got to Brother Rice ace Ryan Kutt for four runs in the first two innings. Matt McCormick went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Vikings.

No. 5 St. Rita 5, St. Francis 1
Logan Strutz struck out seven in 5.1 scoreless innings of three-hit ball for the Mustangs. Charlie Rodriguez doubled and scored two runs in the victory.

No. 6 Mount Carmel 6, Marmion 5
Bobby Seymour had the last of four consecutive RBI singles in the bottom of the sixth as the Caravan overcame a 5-0 deficit. Christian Lucio hit a two-run homer in the sixth and pitched a complete game to pick up the victory.  

No. 14 Glenwood 14, Decatur Eisenhower 0
Cole Hembrough homered and drove in four and Karson Aherin struck out seven in four innings of three-hit ball for the Titans.

Warren 7, Zion-Benton 5
Vic Perez and Sam Deluca had two-run singles as Warren scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to erase a 5-3 deficit. Robert Archbold hit a two-run homer in the victory. Collin Shaide went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Zee-Bees.

Morton 4, Canton 0
Logan Peterson pitcher a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks in the victory. Evan Pfiefer had two hits and two RBI for the Potters.

Normal 14, Peoria 0
Jake McCaw hit a grand slam and a two-run homer for the Ironmen.

Lake View 4, Taft 0
Ivan Algerian struck out nine in 4⅔ innings of one-hit ball for Lake View.

Grayslake North 5, Round Lake 0
Trajan Castro pitched a one-hitter in the five-inning victory. Austin Delao had two hits and two RBI.

Breese Central 3, Wesclin 1
Jake Strieker recorded 15 strikeouts while limiting Wesclin to three hits and one walk in the complete-game victory. Kolby Schulte had an RBI double and scored in Central’s three-run third.
