De La Salle (10-7; 7-4) rallied past the Fighting Irish in Bronzeville. Senior Trevino Rodriguez was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBI to lead the Meteor attack. Joe Iozza chipped in with a single and two RBI. RHP Cody Stopko (2-3) fired a four-hitter with seven strikeouts at Bishop Mac.

Naperville Central (12-6; 7-1) exploded for four runs in the sixth to roar past the Blackhawks in Naperville. Senior RHP Pat Maloney (3-1) fired a five-hitter at the Blackhawks and Justin Wegner had two singles and two RBI to lead the Redhawk attack.

Herscher (17-5; 9-0) won for the 11th consecutive time by scoring two runs in the top of the seventh to erase a 2-1 Manteno lead and steal a big win in Manteno. Senior Luke Azzarelli ripped a single to right plating senior Nick Wheeler, who walked, with the tying run. Later the Tigers would score the eventual game-winning run on a Panther miscue.Tiger senior ace RHP Jeff Klaman (5-0) fired a seven-hitter with nine punchouts at the Panthers. The two clubs will meet in Herscher on Tuesday at 4:30
Reed-Custer 3, Dwight 1
Reed-Custer (14-7; 5-2) cruised past the Trojans behind Comet ace LHP Brent Headrick (6-1). Headrick fired a four-hitter at Dwight with five strikeouts. The Trojan run was unearned.

Clemente 9, Lane Tech 2
Clemente (8-2; 5-0) crushed Lane Tech (6-6; 5-1) in a battle for JRN supremacy. Clemente senior RHP Jonathan Figueroa fired a four-hitter at the Indians. Figueroa fanned eight and walked five. Senior Mizraim Fuentes doubled and had three RBI to lead the Wildcat attack. Senior Ramon Berdecia chipped in with a 3-for-3 game with two runs scored.

Kaneland 2,Yorkville 0
Kaneland (11-4; 7-0) scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth to break open a scoreless tie and take game one of the crucial NIB-12 East series in Maple Park. With one out in the sixth Joey Panico ripped a single into left scoring Jake Bachio, who had singled to lead off the inning. Knight closer Nick Stahl had a 1-2-3 seventh inning to nail down the save for starting and winning RHP Anthony Holubecki. Holubecki went six innings, allowing two hits with nine punchouts.

Reavis 7, Richards 1
Reavis (8-11; 5-4) handed Richards (15-4; 8-1) its first SSC-Red Division defeat at Czarnecki Field in Burbank. Ram LHP Belal Abuzir went the distance against the Bulldogs, scattering nine hits. Abuzir struck out six and walked none. The Richards run was unearned. Lael Robles and Jose Romero each had two singles for the Rams. Robles plated two and Romero one. Abuzir chipped in with a double and an RBI.
Suburban Christian Gold
Aurora Central Catholic 2, Chicago Christian 1 (10 innings)
Aurora Central Catholic (13-9;5-5) won in walk-off fashion. Senior Michael Fidler singled home senior Matt Rahn with the walk-off winner, sending joyous Charger fans storming onto Edgelawn Drive. Senior Andrew Bruss fired four scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win.
