One of the biggest bats in the 2019 high school class, 3B Brett Baty (Lake Travis HS, TX) had a huge week, adding to his already ridiculous year. He went 4-for-7 with a home run, two triples and five runs scored in two games. On Tuesday, he was 2-for-3, driving a ball to the left-center field wall in his second at-bat and then smashed a missile over the center field wall for a solo home run, showing the hand and bat speed he’s known for. He also made a good play on a chopper with a strong throw on defense.
