Top New York Players Give Thanks
November 27, 2014
Dan Cevette
Director, New York
We would like to take this time to thank everyone who has helped to make our initial 7 months successful. We are dedicated to giving the empire state the most thorough and comprehensive amateur baseball coverage the state has ever seen. We felt it was only fitting on Thanksgiving to look into what some of New York's top players were thankful for this Holiday season. Here's what we learned.
2015 Class
No. 2 in Class of 2015
+ Wesley Rodriguez, RHP (George Washington HS) "I want to start off by saying how thankful I am to my father and everything he has done for me. I'm also very thankful to my mother and all of her sacrifices. She's the best person in the world to me and I don't know what I would do without her. She my backbone, always knows how to pick me up and she's the reason I work so hard now so hopefully she never has to work a day in her life again. I'm very thankful to my brother Xyruse and all of his efforts spent on me. He's the main reason behind all my success, especially the reason I play baseball. I wanted to play baseball because he played baseball. I'm truly thankful to have him as a role model. I love my brother and family so much, we came from the bottom of nothing and now we are trying to make it something. I am thankful for my life and family, Happy Thanksgiving New York."

+ Robin Adames, C/3B (James Monroe HS) "I'm thankful for my family especially my father for all his support and teaching me how to not only be a quality ball-player but an even better person. I also want to thank God for the talent and gift he's blessed me with."
