Heartland CC Picks Up Two Missouri Commitments

LHP Jonathan Jones from Hickman HS and 1B Justin Sheward from Ft. Zumwalt North HS have committed to continue their college careers at Heartland Community College.
Jones (right) is a lanky 6-foot-1, 180-pound left handed pitcher who has shown the abaility to command the strike zone. In his participation in PBR events, Jones is a low 80's pitcher with good off-speed pitches. he should be the ace of the Hickman team in 2013 after going 4-0 with thirty-six strikeouts in thirty-seven and a third inning pitch with a 1.12 ERA. He also batted .329 with twenty RBIs.
Sheward (5-foot-11, 195-pounds) hits from the left side and posted a .329 batting average as a juinor with eight doubles, two homeruns, and ninteen RBIs.
