Penn Charter topped Father Judge on Wednesday In an early season meeting between traditional front runners in the Inter-Academic League and the Philadelphia Catholic League, The Quakers rode the right arm of senior Will Samuel for the win. Samuel worked six scoreless innings, allowing three hits while recording four strikeouts. Freshman Colin Lewandowski worked a scoreless seventh for the save.
The Penn Charter offense was fueled by Virginia commit Mike Siani and brother Sam Siani, a Duke commit. The brothers combined for three hits, three walks, three runs scored and three runs batted in.
