Future Games Q&A: Tyson Neighbors
April 29, 2020
I was able to get in contact with multiple college coaches and eventually receive multiple offers.
The PBR Events are one of a kind! Personally the PBR Events have been the best showcase events I have attended.
Playing at the futures game was like a dream. The coaching staff was unbelievable, also the PBR staff was very helpful. Even better yet, the event was a lot cheaper than I would’ve expected. As a 16 year old, I was able to pay for the event by myself without a problem.
I believe that if you are looking to be recruited it is definitely worth going to both the PBR Showcase and possibly the Future Games if you are able.
PBR first noticed me at a summer game at DBU. The staff member introduced himself and some information about the PBR Events. He also gave me his number to keep in contact if I needed any help for PBR Events or college recruiting.
Tyson Neighbors RHP / OF / Community , TX / 2021Rankings StateRank: 56 / POS: 19
Committed to Kansas State shortly after the Future Games. A stout 6-foot, 205-pounds, Neighbors brings a cut-throat aggression to the mound, bearing down on hitters with power pitches and pounding the zone. His fastball, which releases from an over the top slot, worked at 88-90 mph. The command was slightly scattered, but he controlled the pitches around the zone and was highly effective. Neighbors slider was a heavy biting slider at 83 mph that showed considerable depth. Neighbors is also highly academic, sporting a 4.57 GPA in the classroom. |
