Future Games Preview: Keith Greishaber, a MIF from Marquette HS
July 30, 2012
The speed of MIF Keith Greishaber from Marquette HS is the first thing that is apparent when watching him on the baseball field, and sets him apart from the others. If the speed doesn’t catch the eye of scouts, the smooth fielding and strong accurate arm are sure to continue to impress. No slouch at the plate either, Greishaber has quick hands through the zone and a level swing that has shown to produce gap to gap line drives.
As a sophomore last season, Greishaber posted a .402 batting average with four doubles and three home runs. He also swiped thirteen bases, a number which we expect will increase entering his junior year.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Greishaber has the tools to be a top level player, and those tools will be on display this weekend at The Midwest Future Games, and we expect Greishaber to continue as a top ranked player the the Class of 2014 as he continues to fill out his frame and mature as a baseball player.
