RHP Alex Lange from Lee's Summit West HS jumped onto the scene this past season as a sophomore starter on a talented Lee’s Summit West squad filled with seniors. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Lange left such an impression, it earned him the No. 1 overall ranking in the combined Prep Baseball Report Class of 2014 and put him on the radar of major college programs and MLB scouts all around the country.

Lange’s fastball sits in the 89-91 mph range, topping at  an easy 92 mph. He has a plus change up, with late movement, a legit out pitch. Lange also throws a sharp breaking ball with late two-plane movement.
