The Fox River Open took place on Tuesday, June 13th at Judson University's Hoffer Field in Elgin, Illinois. The event featured over 40 prospects participating in a pro style workout in front of the PBR Scouting Staff. Today we start the event analysis with stats story. A number of players find their names on multiple leader boards. Dominic Listi (Prairie Grove, 2019) showed two-way power, logging the top fastball and outfield velocity, while placing highly in exit velocity. Matt Mier (Tri-Valley, 2018) featured a combination of power and speed, leading the way in exit velocity and finishing high in the 60 yard dash and infield velocity categories. Jimmy Friel (Grant, 2018) and Eric Nelson (Dekalb, 2018) also find their names sprinkled throughout the top metrics.

Five participants were able to crack the sub 7.00 second mark. Jackson Reuter (Larkin, 2018) posted the top time of 6.83 seconds.
Of the seven players to post fastballs of 80 mph or better, Listi see's himself atop the leader board. Not far behind was Nelson.
Familiar names populate this list, as Mier, Friel, Listi, and Nelson showed their power in the field also translated to the offensive side.
Three players were able to crack the 80 mph mark. Patrick Keaty (South Elgin, 2019) posted the top velocity at 83 mph.
Listi once again leads the way, this time in outfield velocity. Adrian Del Valle (Glenbard West, 2018), joins Listi as the only other player to post 80 mph or better from the outfield.
