Floyd Central claims this week's No.1 spot in the Power 25 Poll

Floyd Central takes over the No. 1 ranking in this week’s Indiana Power 25 Poll. The Highlanders are coming off an impressive win this past week against Kentucky’s No. 1 team, St. Xavier. Floyd Central is now an impressive 18-0 on the year.
Elkhart Central, who held the No. 1 spot for the first five weeks of the season, has dropped to the No. 3 spot after losing to NIC rival, Penn, 4-3.
Class 1A Frontier jumped into the Power 25 Rankings for the first time this year at No. 20 with an impressive 16-0 record.
Class 2A defending State Champions, Northfield, enters this week’s poll as the No. 25 team in the state.
New Albany, the Preseason No. 6 ranked team, re-enters this week’s Power 25 Poll at No. 22.
Other team’s previously not ranked entering this week’s Power 25 Poll include: No. 19 South Bend St. Joseph and No. 24 Bloomington North.
