Florida Program Invitational Preview
June 16, 2021
This year brings the first year of the Florida Program Invitational. With so much talent across the state, PBR Florida has brought together eight talented programs, who will each bring one team in each age group to compete to be an overall program winner.
The tournament will consist of three seeding games followed by a single elimination bracket. The seeding games will all be important, because if a team loses in the bracket play, the 4-8 seedings will be determined by who was the highest seeded team going into bracket play. Each age group will have a winner and the overall program winner will be who earns the most points from all four age groups. First place will earn the program eight points with eighth place earning them one. Now, let's take a look at the programs who will duel it out at IMG Academy this weekend and some players to watch on each team.
Canes Florida originally started in 2013 also known as the Florida Hurricanes. Canes Florida is part of the Canes travel ball organization and they are a Louisville Slugger Prime/Wilson Premier Organization.
