Prep Baseball Report Colorado just completed the 1st Annual Fall Diamond Classic. Over 40 teams participated in the first year tournament from the 15U-18U levels. The teams competed over two weekends,  pool play took place August 22nd and 23rd, then teams were true seeded for the championship weekend on September 26^th and 27^th.  Over the next week, Prep Baseball Report will break down the top performances from all levels.

Day 1 Player Highlights (9-26-15)

15U TC Arnold 11 - 15U Arvada West 1
Cooper Marks had 3 hits w/ a triple and 3 runs scored for TC Arnold. Fredrick Ezenyilimba, Owen Best, Michael Vega-Ramos had 2 RBI a piece. Case Williams pitched 5 innings and gave up 0 ER on 2 hits with 7 K's

16U PBR Colorado 6 Colorado Bombers 0
2017 RHP Carter Pennington throws a complete game shutout and 2018 INF Nico Rodriguez goes 1-3 with an RBI

16U Team Colorado Stegman 2 - 16U  Slammers Quarton 1

Campbell Thurman hit a game winning walk off 2B in bottom of 7th to presever the win. Dempsey Battin threw 4 shutout innings.  2019 LHP Caleb Stubbings threw 1 & 2/3 IP shutout innings and was the winning pitcher. For Slammers Quarton 2019 LHP Brian Prater threw 6 innings and struck out 10 batters only giving up 2 hits. 2018 C Griff Gibbens threw out 3 runners in the game.

17U Pro-Swing Windsor 1 - 17U Dakota Ridge 0
Keegan Vialpandon was 2-3 fo Pro-Swing Windor. Pitchers Colton Vickers, Jaden Traut and Alex Fietek combined for the shutout. 

18U Team Colorado Fiscus 8 -UA Prime 0
2016 LHP Spencer Hammond thew a complete game shutout only giving up 1 hit.

18U UA Prime 9 - Arvada West 1
2017 RHP Paddy Walsh pitches complete game 9 to 1 UA prime giving up 1 hit in only 76 pitches.

18U Team Colorado Fiscus 8- Arvada West 0
2016 LHP/OF Spencer Hammond hits a walk off homerun to preserve the victory.

18U TCR 3 - 18U WYCO 0
Tommy Drury was impressive throwing 5 innings and struck out 10,  and  2017 SS Kyle Cardona (2 IP, 3 K's) combined for 3- hit shutout.

18U Lightning 5 - 18U SBA 2
2016 RHP/SS Billy Moreland was 2-3 with  2 doubles. Zach Sundine 5 IP, 1 ER for W. Jacob Pekol 2 scoreless innings for Save.

18U Lightning 2 - 18U Slammers Zavaras 0
2016 OF Owen Reynolds was 2/3. 2016 RHP Christian Manmano threw 5 shutout innings for the win. 2016 RHP Andrew Coverly threw 2 shutout innings for the save.

18U Slammers Heller 6 - PBR Colorado 3
2018 RHP Kevin Zapanta and 2018 RHP Zac Dammel pitched well giving up 3 runs in 7 innings. Dammel also hit a triple in the game. 2016 Cruz Ramirez thew 5 shutout innings striking out 11 for PBR Colorado.

18U Cronican 4 - 18U TCR 2
2016 RHP A.J. Fell gave up 2 runs in 4 innings pitched, and 2016 RHP Tommy Knowlton threw 2 scoreless innings for the save. 2016 1B Cade Grossman had a good day at the plate going 3-3 with a double. 2016 OF Sean Kelsen had a double and 2016 INF Dante Booz had a triple.

18U Slammers Holzemer 9 Colorado Khaos 1
2016 Bo Weiss threw 4 innings giving up 1 run striking out 7. Aaron Dammel hit a two run double. Mike Lucero for Khaos was started for Khaos and threw 3 shut-out innings.

18U Slammers Holzemer 9 - Slammers Heller 0
2016 LHP  Austin Gussman  throws 4 shutout innings and 2016 1B Ryan Spiliotis hits a 2 run homerun and 2016 C Maverick Handley ends a solid day at the plate with a long solo shot.
