FL Underclass Games Player Spotlight: 2020 MIF Zac Veen

On June 7th the PBR Florida Underclass Games will take place at the University of South Florida which will feature some of the top prospects from the 2019-2021 classes from throughout the state. Leading up to the event, we will highlight some of the prospects who will be in attendance through reports and video. Today we take a look at 2020 MIF Zac Veen of Spruce Creek HS, FL.

Zac Veen SS / 2B / Spruce Creek, FL / 202006/01/17- Currently stands at 6-foot, 160 pounds with a high waist and athletic frame. Stood out in the infield where the actions worked well with a quick first step with above average hands. He does a great job of funneling the ball to his body with a quick transfer to release. All the actions and arm strength projects at short. Offensively, he shows some easy, rhythmic actions from the left side. He has a feel for the barrel, balanced lower half, and has power potential as he continues to fill out. There is a lot of potential and will be a very interesting follow. |
