As the high school season heads into the regional playoffs and with the draft just over a month away, we take a look at some changes to the 2017 rankings. The biggest change is at the top, where after carrying momentum from the fall all the way through the spring , SS Chris Seise (West Orange HS, FL) takes over the No. 1 spot. Seise has shown the toolset to be a high pick, but the consistency he has shown throughout the spring has his stock on the rise. He is currently hitting .413 with seven home runs and 24 RBIs leading the way on a talented West Orange HS heading into the playoffs. Seise is the first of many of the top players in Florida who will be featured in our new Draft Spotlights that are featured here.
