Just two months remain until PBR Pennsylvania's Elite Prospect Showcase on November 7th at Keystone State Baseball Academy in Manheim. Today, in the fourth in a series of previews on prospects who will be in attendance, we highlight Laurel Highlands third baseman Dominic Peroni.
One of the highest-ranked uncommitted prospects in the Pennsylvania class of 2016, Peroni's 6-foot-1, 185-pound frame and 93-mph exit velocity hint at potential power production. The right-handed hitter features a balanced stance in which he keeps his head still throughout and flashes solid bat speed. Defensively, Peroni has exhibited solid feet, a soft glovehand, and enough arm (86-mph across the diamond) to stay on the left side.
We expect Peroni to be a quality late commitment for whichever program procures his services. For a complete event roster as of today, click here.
