Draft League Spotlight: Josh Loeschorn
April 8, 2021
Player: Josh Loeschorn
Position: RHP
School: Long Island
A New Jersey native, Loeschorn garnered honors as both the ECC Pitcher and Rookie of the Year and was named a NCBWA Second Team All-American as a true freshman in 2019, after going 10-0 with a 1.74 ERA and nation-best 0.74 WHIP for NCAA Division II LIU-Post. The 6-foot-3 junior right-hander has feel for executing three pitches from a three-quarters arm slot, headlined by an 89-91 mph fastball that he throws with heavy armside run. Loeschorn complements his two-seamer with a slider and changeup.
