Johnnie Krawietz, RHP, Canton HS, 2019  
The state record for scoreless innings pitched was set last season at 55 1/3.  Johnnie is now 10-0 on the year. He gave up one unearned run in his first start back on Feb. 22. Since then, he has thrown up 0's the last 54 innings.  He has 119 K's in that span. Last week he went 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 14 K, and 1 BB. He is now 4 outs away from tying the record and 5 outs away from breaking it.

UTRGV commit. .600 vs Edinburg and Weslaco East, to led RVHS to back to back District Championships, 3-5 at the plate, 4 rbi, 2 runs scored, 1 walk and He led 31-6A with a .727 batting average, SLG-1.091 and OBP .767 To led Vela to a 12-0 district record.

The uncommitted left-hander had 15 K's last week in a 7 inning, complete-game victory for the Bobcats. Allowed only one earned run on three hits and three walks.

Clear Lake HS had to win 3 game to get into Playoffs:  Beat Clear Brook 6-4, 4-3 then Clear Creek in play in game 9-7.  Was trailing in 6th or 7th all 3 games. Pete Skol in Clear Creek game 2-3 with 4 RBI’s

Freshman Alex Ardemagni (Cisterian HS) pitched a complete game 2 hit shutout vs. Greenhill on Friday w/ 11 K's and 1 BB.

7 innings pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 ER, 4 BB, 11 K’s, (No hitter) got the win vs Raymondville

Sammy Prieto from Dimmitt HS threw a No-Hitter on Saturday 4-27-19 vs Friona. Only needed 82 pitches to go 7 innings, and struck out 9 of the 23 batters he faced.
