CLASS 4A REGIONAL FINAL

Elk Grove 7, Loyola 2
Christian Camacho pitched six innings of three-hit ball, striking out nine and walking none, as the Mid-Suburban champs moved on to sectionals. Ryan Uehara went 3-for-4 with two RBI, Nick Hoffman was 2-for-3 with two RBI and A.J. Navarro went 2-for-2 and scored three runs as the Grenadiers pounded out 13 hits.

Lake Forest 7, Stevenson 3
Cal Coughlin struck out 11 and Lake Forest scored five runs in the second inning to give him all the support he needed. Jonathan Salm had a two-run double and scored twice in the victory. Coughlin allowed three earned runs on four hits and one walk in the complete game.

Prospect 3, Glenbrook North 0
Ryan Howe pitched a no-hitter and Grant Zellmer hit a three-run homer in top of the first as the Knights led throughout. Howe had just one strikeout and one walk.

Brent Headrick struck out 17 in a two-hitter for Reed-Custer. Hunter Murawski had an RBI triple and scored in the three-run first inning for the Comets.
