Here is a look at the scores and highlights from the District Tournament games from around the state yesterday.

Lafayette 6, Lexington Christian 5
Tyler Guifoil went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 RBI, and Eddie Satisky had a double and 2 RBI in the 43^rd District Championship win that took 9 innings. Guilfoil also picked up the win on the mound with 9 strikeouts and only 1 run allowed in 4.1 innings of work.

Warren East 9, Greenwood 0
Davion Downey went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and a double, Dakota Basham went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Ty Stringfield went 2-for-4 with a double in the 14^th District Championship win.  Ryan Hawks pitched a complete game shutout, handing out 8 strikeouts.

Daviess County 6, Apollo 1
Jack Schneider went 1-for-2 with a HR and 2 RBI, and Cameron Nichols had a so HR in the 9^th District Championship win. Nolan Johnson pitched 5 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.  

Covington Catholic 4, Beechwood 2
Justin Colvin had a HR and 2 RBI, Jack Coldiron went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, and Thomas Cody went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and an RBI in the 35^th District Championship win. Ben France pitched 4 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts to pick up the win in relief.

DeSales 2, Butler 1
Alec Brothers had a triple, Gilly Simpson went 2-for-3, and Sam Newkirk and Dustin Hollenkamp both had an RBI in the 22^nd District Championship win. Brothers also went the distance on the mound with 4 strikeouts and only 1 run allowed.

Henderson County 6, Union County 0 (6^th District Championship)

Nelson County 5, Bardstown 0 (19^th District Championship)

Cooper 1, Ryle 0

Cooper 2, Conner 1 (33^rd District Championship)
