Farragut 10, Bob Jones (AL) 3
Farragut received 3-hit performances from Carson Wright and Jake Grooms in their Thursday morning victory. Wright scored 3 runs and drove in 1, while Grooms scored 1 run and drove in 2. Chandler Chambers went 2-2 and Parker Noland had 4 RBI. Cade Burkey go the W on the mound.
Farragut 11, St. Benedict 1
Parker Noland starter on the mound and dealt 3 innings of scoreless baseball, allowing only 1 hit and striking out 3. Chandler Chambers led the offense by going 4-4 with a double, a triple, 2 runs and 1 RBI. Noland, Jake Hagenow, and Justen Freeman all drove in multiple runs.
CAK 5, Flagler (FL) 2
Hudson Chastain went 3-4 in the Warriors' victory, while Cole Campbell drove in 2 runs. Lucas Sykes recorded the W on the mound by throwing 4.2 innings of 1-run baseball, striking out 4 and allowing 3 hits and 3 walks. Harry Buchanan got the save.
CAK 2, Bayside (FL) 0
Jacob Tate dominated the day by throwing a complete-game shutout, striking out 9 and allowing only 2 hits and 2 walks in the 7 innings. Zane Keener and Cole Campbell drove in the only 2 runs of the game for the Warriors.
Covington 5, Northpoint Christian (MS) 2
Christian Delashmit led the Chargers to their victory on Thursday afternoon by going 2-3 with a double and an RBI, while also recording the W on the mound. Delashmit struck out 8 in 7 innings and allowed 6 hits and two runs. Tyler Higgins had a 2 RBI double and Cole Howard went 2-2.
Franklin County 6, Red Bank 3
Koby Foster went 2-4 with an RBI in the Rebels' win. Shane Smith had a triple and scored 2 runs of his own, while Chris Tyler and Cameron Yarlett combined to drive in 3. Bracken Henson got the W on the mound and Trevor Cisco earned the save by throwing a perfect 6th and 7th with 4 strikeouts.
Hardin Valley Academy 14, Lenoir City 2
Ryder Green led the way for Hardin Valley Academy, finishing 3-4 with a double and a home run. Green drove in 3 and scored 4 runs. Cameron Fisher also contributed 4 RBI and 2 runs with his 3-3 performance. Nathan Johnson earned the W on the mound by throwing all 6 innings without allowing an earned run.
Knoxville Central 7, William Blount 2
The Bobcats received a total of 8 hits, 5 runs, and 5 RBI from the top four hitters in their lineup (Bass Cooper, Zach Ellis, Cole Rheinecker, and Seth Armstrong). Tyler Ellison also added a double and an RBI, while Justin Mize gave a strong 5-inning performance on the mound. Mize struck out 8 and allowed only 3 hits and 2 runs.
Pope John Paul II 5, Brentwood Academy 4
The top of the Knights' lineup came to play again, as Ben Brooks (2-3, 2 runs), Pace Dempsey (2-4, 2 runs), Jake Rucker (1-3), and Grayson Lang (2-3, 4 RBI) continued their early season dominance. Rucker also earned the W on the mound by throwing the final 1.2 innings, allowing only 1 hit and 1 walk with 1 strikeout.
Rossville Christian Academy 6, Middleton 5
Preston Anderson led the Wolves to a victory over Middleton on Tuesday night by going 2-3 with an RBI and 3 runs scored. Anderson's hits were a double and a triple. Chandler Sneed threw a scoreless 1.1 innings to finish it out.
Goodpasture Christian 7, East Robertson 3
The Cougars received RBIs from 6 different players on Thursday night, with Cole Carter driving in 2. Gage Gregory had 2 hits and scored a run on top of his RBI. Ryan Lyle got the W on the mound by throwing a scoreless 3 innings to end the game. Lyle struck out 4 and allowed only 3 hits while walking none.
Bradley Central 8, Cookeville 1
Although the Bears scored 8 runs in Thurdsay's victory, they did so by only recording 4 hits. Dylan Standifer led the charge, finishing 2-3 with an RBI and 2 runs. Bradley Central drew 9 walks from Cookeville pitchers and certainly took advantage. Blaze Benton got the W on the mound by throwing 5.1 innings and allowing 6 hits, 3 walks, and a run. Benton struck out 5.
Gibson County 8, West Carroll 3
Will Cantrell went 3-5 for the Pioneers and recorded 1 RBI, while Alex Qualls finished 2-4 with 2 runs scored. Tyler Hughes scored 2 runs and Josh London drove 2 in. Qualls also threw 1.2 innings of scoreless relief.
Franklin County 11, Hixson 0
Cameron Gilliam threw a 6-inning no-hitter for the Rebels in their victory over Hixson on Thursday night. Gilliam struck out 4 and allowed 4 walks in the performance. Shane Smith and Koby Foster combined to go 5-10 with 3 RBI and 5 runs scored in the win.
Beech 5, Siegel 4
The Buccaneers got a big win on Thursday night by taking out Siegel on the shoulders of a complete-game outing from Dalton Hall. Hall allowed 8 hits and struck out 9 in the 7 innings, walking 2 and allowing only 2 earned runs. Hunter Crawford went 2-2 at the plate with a double. Zac Eichstadt also finished 2-2 with a run.
Rossview 2, Station Camp 0
Bracken Rice and Gage Bradley combined to shut out the Bison on Thursday night. Rice threw 6.1 innings and allowed only 3 hits and 2 walks, while striking out 3. Bradley came in to get the last two outs. David Bowman produced the only runs of the game with a 2-run home run in the first inning.
Independence 2, Brentwood 0
Joey Fankhauser, Robert Hassell, and Matthew Hargrove combined to shut out the Bruins on Thursday night. The trio allowed only 2 hits and 3 walks in the 7 innings. Hassell also went 2-3 at the plate with an RBI. Carson Carroll and Beaux Escobar each had a hit as well.
Greeneville 10, David Crockett 3
The Devils saw strong performances throughout their lineup on Thursday night. Caden Ramsey and Cody Hartness combined to go 3-5 with 3 runs and 5 RBI. Hartness also recorded the W on the mound.
Blackman 10, Stewarts Creek 1
DJ Wright put together a huge performance for the Blaze, as he tossed the complete-game victory on the mound and finished 3-4 at the plate. Wright allowed 6 hits and no walks while striking out 4 and provided a double, a home run, 2 RBI and 1 run scored on the offensive side. Derrick Junker also went 2-4 and scored 2 runs.
