There was a lot of action around the state on Saturday as Sunny and mild conditions prevailed. Here is a look at scores and highlights from around Kentucky for games played on Saturday, March 15.

Hayden Ford and Josh Osborne collected 2 hits apiece, and Cam Revelette worked 6 innings of 1-hit baseball to pick up his first varsity win.
#2 St. Xavier 10 Newport Central Catholic 0 (5 innings)
Josh Osborne and Austin Clemons each drove in 2 runs apiece, and Robby Skarvan worked 3 1/3 scoreless innings to pick up the win.
#3 Henderson Co 10 Bowling Green 1
Kaleb Duckworth, Ethan Meeler, Daniel Steiner, Andrew Richmond, and Alec Jameson all collected 2 hits apiece as the Colonels used a 7-run third inning to blow the game open. Marty Coursey picked up the win allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run over 5 innings of work.
#6 Lexington Catholic 12 Bethlehem 6
CJ Bush went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles, a triple, and Daniel Little, Riley Jackson, and Chris Thompson each added 2 hits in the Knights’ victory. Griffin Neuer worked 4 innings to pick up the win.

#11 Male 10 #17 Central Hardin 5
#12 Bullitt East 3 North Oldham 2
In a pitcher’s duel between Bullitt East LHP Chase Patton and North Oldham RHP Ethan Cleary, Bullitt East came out with a 3-2 victory despite collecting just 3 hits on the day. Alex Ralph went 2-for-3 with a HR, and Patton struck out 8 while allowing 1 earned run in his 6 innings of work. Cleary was the hard luck loser allowing 3 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 11.
#13 Paducah Tilghman 5 Murray 0
Caleb Farley drove in 2 runs, and Jacob Underhill worked 6 innings of 2-hit baseball with 5 K’s to pick up his first win of the season.
Covington Catholic 6 #15 Trinity 5
Nick Pope and Noah Galvin continued to swing hot bats for Covington Catholic. Pope went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Galvin added 2 hits and 2 RBI to lead the offense. Winning pitcher Adam Ruwe went the distance with 6 K’s.
#15 Trinity 10 Bishop Brossart 0 (6 innings)
Tyler Neeley doubled home 2 runs, and Mitchell Tompkins added 2 RBI in the 6-inning win. Nick Hoffman racked up 9 K’s while allowing 2hits in 5 innings of work to pick up his first win of the season.
#18 Logan Co 13 Ohio Co 7
Logan County exploded for 11 runs over the final two innings for the come-from-behind win. Matt Harper led the offense going 3-for-5 with a 2B, 3B, and 3 RBI, while Daniel Beaty and Joe Holliday each contributed 2 hits and 2 RBI in the victory. Harper picked up the win in relief of Hunter Britt by allowing 1 run in his 3 innings of work.
#21 North Laurel 8 Rockcastle Co 7
Logan Mallory went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI, and Weston Griebel went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and a RBI as North Laurel stormed back from a 7-1 defecit for the win.
DuPont Manual 7 Oldham Co 3
Chris Gambert went 4-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Aubrey Lipscomb collected 2 hits in the win for Manual as they scored 5 times in the 7th inning. Raleigh Dixon picked up the win tossing 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Greenwood 6 Barren Co 3 (9 innings)
Drew Hayles went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, and John Halcomb went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI to lead Greenwood to the victory. Noah Edmonson allowed just 2 hits in 4 innings of work with 4 K’s.
Boyd Co 7 Bryan Station 6
Zane Purscelley went 3-for-3, and Jacob Barnwell added a double and RBI as Boyd Co survived a 7th inning rally to hold on for the win. Billy McCoy allowed 2 earned runs and struck out 5 over 6 innings of work to pick up the win.
Somerset 4 Madison Central 3 (10 innings)
Bryson Jones went 3-for-5 with a double and RBI as Somerset pushed across a run in the top of the 10th for the extra-inning victory. Charlie Dishman struck out 8 in his 4 innings of work, and Jacob Pelston picked up the win with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Somerset 13 Madison Southern 3 (5 innings)
Hayden Fox went 2-for-3 with a double, HR, and 4 RBI, and Charlie Dishman, Jacob Pelston, and Addison Thompson each added 2 hits apiece in the winning effort. Devin Vanover homered for Madison Southern in the loss.
Fern Creek 5 Simon Kenton 4
Walter Baker went 2-for-4, and Colton Hutzleman added a double in the victory. Tyler Wilson picked up the win allowing 1 run over the final 3 2/3 innings.
Simon Kenton 7 Fern Creek 1
Austin Richardson homered, and Price Burge, Dakota Jones, and Sean Lawrence each had 2 hits in the Simon Kenton victory. Tristan Martin allowed 4 hits and 1 run in his 6 innings of work to record the win.
Covington Catholic 11 DeSales 4
Nick Pope hit a grand slam HR, and Nick Cheesman worked 4 innings, allowing 1 earned run, to pick up the win.
DeSales 10 Bishop Brossart 0 (5 innings)
Henry Weiter, Dillon Sievert, and Joey Hollingsworth each collected 2 hits, and Trenton Saylor drove in 3 runs in the winning effort. Austin Payne worked 5 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Jack Schneider went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and worked 5 innings on the mound, allowing 2 hits and striking out 7, to record the win. Zach Burton struck out the side in the 7th to pick up the save.

Zach Williams went 2-for-4 with a HR and 4 RBI, Austin Harbin homered, and Logan Mathies added 2 hits in the win. Austin tucker allowd no earned runs over 5 innings to pick up the win.
Garrard Co 3 Clay Co 2
Seth Murphy hit his 3rd HR in 3 games, and Kelsey Young added 3 hits in the Garrard Co win. Logan Teague went the distance in picking up the win.
Henry Clay 10 Franklin Co 2
Brandon Lord hit a 3-run HR, Jack Branchini added 2 hits and 3 RBI, and Trevor Hammonds went 2-for-3 with a double and scored 3 runs as Henry Clay cruised to the win. Quenton Brownlee homered in the loss for Franklin Co.
Franklin-Simpson 12 White House, TN 5
Tyler Knight went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Timothy Wimpee added 2 hits and a RBI in the win. Reed Caudill struck out 5in 5 innings of work to record the win.
Franklin-Simpson 11 Portland, TN 2
Reed Caudill went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and 2 RBI, and Payne Williams added 2 hits as Franklin-Simpson completed the DH sweep in Tennessee. Jacob Johnson allowed 1 earned run in 5 1/3 innings to record the win.
Apollo 11 Madisonville-North Hopkins 1 (5 innings)
Jakob Shuler blasted a long HR and drove in 4 runs, and John Mark Thompson went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles to lead Apollo to the victory. Winning pitcher Cole Lyons worked 4 innings of 1-hit baseball with 4 K’s.
Boyle Co 9 Washington Co 0
Addison Coffey went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, Cooper Lindberg doubled twice and drove in 2 runs, Austin Chambers added 3 hits, and Josiah Robbins drove in 3 runs as Boyle Co cruised to the victory. Hagan Ellis threw 5 innings of 1-hit baseball with 4 K’s to pick up the win.
Christian Co 5 Grayson Co 0
Dixon Craft went 3-for-4 with a double at the plate and fired a completegame, 3-hit shutout on the mound to lead Christian County.
Christian Co 11 Warren East 5
Sam Blane went 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI, and Matthew Deck added 2 hits and 2 RBI in the victory. Blane struck out 6 in 5 IP to pick up the win.
Grayson Co 7 Warren East 2
Dylan Yaden collected 2 hits, and Logan Ramsey doubled home 2 runs as Grayson County scored 5 times in the bottom of the 6th to break open a close game.
Butler 10 Whitefield Academy 1
Nolan Simpkins went 2-for-3 with a double, HR, and 3 RBI, and Lazaro Sosa, Alex Satterly, and Jonathan Thrasher each collected 2 hits as Butler cruised to the victory, Tyler Sturgeon worked 6 strong innings to pick up the win.
Danville 4 Woodford Co 3
Jay Hunn went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles, and drove in the winning run in the walk-off win. Mason Stamm went 2-for-3 with a HR to aid in the victory. Ben Mahan worked 4 scoreless innings without allowing a hit to pick up the win in relief.
Kentucky Country Day 14 Jeffersontown 5 (9 innings)
Parker James and Casey Klein each collected 2 hits and drove in 3 runs. Klein worked the final 3 innings in relief of James with 5 K’s to pick up the win as KCD exploded for 9 runs in the 9th inning.
