Farragut 7, Tishomingo County (MS) 3
Zach Yunger led the Admiral offense by going 2-3 with a triple, HR, 1 RBI and 2 runs in the win. Parker Noland also delivered 2 hits, including a double and 3 RBI. Ryan Hagenow got the W on the mound, throwing 4 innings of 2 run baseball.
Collierville 3, Brighton 1
Corey Hardeman provided a solid performance for the Dragons by throwing 6.2 innings and striking out 7, while only allowing 4 hits and 1 unearned run. Parker Moss went 2-3 and Noah Hattier and Mitch Austin drove in runs in the win.
McNairy Central 8, South Gibson 3
Peyton and Parker Childers combined to record both the win and the save for the Bobcats, respectively, while allowing only 6 hits and 3 unearned runs. Logan Essary finished 2-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored and Casey Coleson went 2-4 with 2 RBI and 1 run scored.
McNairy Central 6, Jackson North Side 0
Dylan Parmely threw 5 innings of shutout baseball to record the W for the Bobcats. Sidney Rickman and Casey Coleson led the offense, combining to go 3-4 with 2 walks, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored.
Goodpasture Christian 14, Stratford 0
Wyatt Blessing dominated the day by throwing a 5-inning no-hitter in which he allowed only 1 walk and struck out 8. Blessing also went 2-3 with a double, a home run, 3 RBI, and 1 run. Zachary Wallace added 2 hits, 2 runs, and 3 RBI.
Father Ryan 3, Ensworth 2
Matt Faulkner drove in 2 runs with a double in the top of the 7th to give the Irish the 3-2 lead that they would manage to hold onto in their Tuesday night victory. Sage Warren and Evan Rewers both tallied 2 hits and Ryan Ragsdale threw 2.2 innings of scoreless relief to record the W. Chandler Schultz threw the first 6 innings for Ensworth, striking out 8 and allowing only 1 unearned run.
Davidson Academy 8, Franklin Road Academy 2
Ethan Tressler led the Bears' offense with a double, a home run, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored, while Hunter Lautzenheiser, Brock Myers, and Blake Osborne each added 2 hits of their own. Myers earned the W on the mound by striking out 7 in 6 innings of work.
Jefferson County 12, Sevier County 5
The Patriots received great performances by a number of players, highlighted by Matt Bradley's 3 hits at the plate and W on the mound. Tyler Shaver recorded 2 RBI and threw the last 2.1 innings without allowing a base-runner and striking out 5.
CAK 3, Vierra (FL) 2
Preston Burleson threw 4.2 innings of shutout baseball for the Warriors to record the W on the mound. Hudson Chastain and Zane Keener both had a hit and a run, while Chastain also added an RBI. Connor Quinn got the save.
Pope John Paul II 6, Brentwood Academy 2
Jake Rucker and Ben Brooks stayed hot at the plate for the Knights, combining to go 4-6 with 3 runs and an RBI. Mason Hickman added a 3 RBI double and threw 5 innings of shutout baseball, allowing only 4 hits and striking out 9.
Bradley Central 6, McMinn County 3
Logan Newberry got the complete-game victory for the Bears by allowing only 3 runs (1 earned) and striking out 7. Jake Presley went 2-5 with a double and recorded both a run and an RBI in the win.
Chattanooga Christian 11, Boyd-Buchanan 1
John Rhodes and Nathan Kapp combined to go 5-8 with 4 RBI and 5 runs scored in the win. Rhodes recorded a home run and Kapp, a double. Alex Phillips and Austin Vincent each added 2 RBI as well.
McGavock 14, Glencliff 1
Paul Wells threw a 5-inning no-hitter in Tuesday's win over Glencliff, while recording 8 strikeouts and walking only 3. The Raiders received multi-hit performances from 5 players, highlighted by Brant Haley's 3 RBI.
Baylor 5, McCallie 4
The Baylor Tigers scratched out a win over McCallie on Tuesday, thanks to a solid bullpen performance by Gavin Roberson and some clutch hitting. Roberson threw 5 innings of shutout baseball, allowing only 1 hit and striking out 8. Stan King hit a home run.
