It was a good night for teams in the newly updated team rankings as all teams in the Power 25 who were in action last evening recorded wins. Here are scores and highlights from around the state.
(No.2) Central Hardin 1 Greenwood 0
In a classic pitcher’s duel between Central Hardin starter Spencer Lucas and Greenwood starter Dexter Cline, the Bruins managed to push across the lone run of the game for the victory. Troy Squires had 2 hits in the winning cause for Central Hardin.
(No.5) Collins 12 Bullitt Central 2 (5 innings)
Zac Wiley tripled, homered, and drove in 3 runs as Collins won its 16th consecutive game. Logan Bailry collected 2 hits and 4 RBI to aid in the victory.
(No.10) Lexington Christian Academy 15 Berea 0 (5 innings)
Unsigned senior Ben Cooper threw a 5 inning no-hitter with 6 K’s. Cooper also got it done at the plate, going 3-3 with 2 RBI. Lincoln Henzman and David Malicote each drove in 3 runs, Henzman’s coming on a 3-run HR.
(No.11) Male 7 Butler 4
Brandon Crabtree and Anthony Piccolo each collected 2 hits and 2 RBI as Male moved to 11-1 on the season. Brandon Gatz worked 6 innings to pick up the win. Chris Allen and Daniel McFarland added 2 hits apiece in the winning effort.

(No.23) Ryle 6 Campbell County 1
Mason Forbes blasted a 3-run HR as Ryle improved its record to 10-1 on the season.

Jacob Metzger went 3-4 with a triple, and Keaton Burton and Andrew Jones each drove in 2 runs. Kevin Goins scattered 4 hits over 7 innings in going the distance for the win.
Taylor County 12 Thomas Nelson 3
Tyler Frogge went 3-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI to lead Taylor County. Dalton Brown worked 4 innings to pick up the win.
Southwestern 8 Danville 6
Trevor Howard went 3-4 with a double and drove in a run. Zack Profit and Lucas Turpin each added 2 RBI in the victory.
Murray 5 Graves County 2
Murray State recruit John Lollar allowed 2 hits in going the distance to pick up the win. Lollar racked up 11 K’s in his 7 innings of work. Zack Grogan and Dustin Bevel each collected 2 hits to pace the Tigers.
Anderson County 9 Franklin County 6
Granville Hayes had a big night going 4-5 with a double, and sophomore Josh Brown added a 3-run homer to power Anderson County. David Current hit a home run and drove in 4 runs in the loss.
Caldwell County 5 Hopkins County 0
Elijah Sindelar went the distance on the mound to pick up the win. Sindelar scattered 5 hits over his 7 innings of work and racked up 11 K’s. Eli Pepper and Jordan Young each collected 2 hits and 2 RBI in the win.
Wayne County 8 Garrard County 7 (9 innings)
Kyle Gehring and Drew Miniard each collected 2 hits, and Landon Hutchison threw the final 4 innings, not allowing a run, to pick up the win in relief.
Greenup County 5 Portsmouth (OH) 1
Trailing 1-0 through 6 innings, Greenup County put up 5 runs in the top of the 7th to record the win. Korey Morris delivered the big blow in the inning, driving in the go ahead run with a base hit. Zach Hutchison worked 6 innings of 1-hit baseball with 6 strikeouts.
Cumberland County 11 Caverna 4
Evan Proffitt had a big day going 2-4 with a triple and 3 RBI. Andrew Castillo worked 4 innings to pick up the win.
Calloway County 2 St. Mary 0
Calloway County scored 2 runs in the fifth inning on an RBI double by Hugh Paschall and an RBI single by Andrew Fraher and made it stand for the victory. Connor Wagner fired a complete game 2-hitter to pick up the win.
DuPont Manual 8 Atherton 0
Harrison Scanlon doubled, tripled and drove in 2 runs, and Ben Hachten collected 3 hits and 3 RBI to power Manual to the victory. Ben Flanigan pitched 4 scoreless innings to record the win.
Betsy Layne 5 Shelby Valley 4
Jonathan Brock had a 3 hit game, including 2 doubles and also picked up the win with 5 solid innings of work on the mound.
Raceland 9 West Carter 5
Kyle Moore had a 4 hit day and Drew Darby added a double and home run for Raceland. Zane Sammons worked 6 1/3 innings with 5 K’s to pick up the win.
North Bullitt 9 Nelson County 5
Sophomore LHP Jacob Kelly had his second consecutive impressive start on the mound. Kelly worked 5 innings and allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run with 11 K's to pick up the win.
Fairview 7 Morgan County 6
Caleb Mcknight collected 2 hits, and Brandon McDaniel had an RBI double to lead Fairview. Taylor Freeman picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings of relief. Joey Stamper had a 5-5 day at the plate in the loss for Morgan County.
South Spencer (IN) 14 Apollo 13 (9 innings)
Kentucky Wesleyan recruit Zach Ranburger tripled, homered, and drove in 3 runs in the loss for Apollo. Matt McCarty also had a 3 hit day.
Warren East 5 Allen County 2
Kentucky recruit Hunter Green picked up the win striking out 10 over 6 2/3 innings of work. Green also tripled and homered to power Warren East to victory.
