Scores and highlights from a big night of action across the state, highlighted by several good match-ups in the Louisville Invitational Tournament.

Male won it with a walk off single in the bottom of the 9th inning.
Trinity (Louisville) 2 (No.4) Woodford County 0
Nolan May shut down the Yellow Jackets offense, and Trinity scored twice in the first inning off Clinton Hollon and made it stand.
(No.10) Henderson County 8 (No.5) PRP 2
Henderson County won for the 11th time in a row in impressive fashion over PRP. Marty Coursey scattered 5 hits while striking out 7 in going the distance for the win. Ryan Ward collected 3 hits, and Justin Cessna had 2 in the win.
(No.6) Tates Creek 5 (No.3) Collins 1
Devin Hairston had 2 hits, and Javon Shelby doubled and drove in 2 runs to lead Tates Creek. Tanner Hart fired a complete game 2-hitter, striking out 5 along the way.
DuPont Manual 6 (No.6) Tates Creek 5
Manual put up 4 runs in the first inning and made it stand to upset Tates Creek. Quinn Beard had 2 hits, and Ben Hachten drove in 2 runs in the win. Andrew Olson allowed 3 earned runs over 4 innings for the win, and Harrison Scanlon recorded the final 4 outs to earn the save.

Tyler Brummer went 2-3 with 2 doubles to lead the PLD offense. Hunter Martin fired a complete game 3-hitter with 6 K’s for the win.
(No.8) Lexington Catholic 2 Meade County 0
Logan Banks and Evan Fraliex drove in the game’s only runs, and Wilson Poe worked 5 1/3 scoreless innings to record the win. Ben Coates came in to get the final 5 outs to pick up the save.
(No.9) Bullitt East 4 Bishop Brossart 1
(No.11) Lone Oak 7 (No.20) LCA 3
Sam Goode went 3-3 with a home run and 2 RBI, and Nick Shumaker added 2 hits in the Lone Oak win. Seth English allowed 3 earned runs and struck out 9 over 6 innings to pick up the win. Cody Kalinowski homered in the loss for LCA.

Jordan Martin lost his no-hit bid in the 7th inning but racked up 14 K’s in the complete game shutout. Martin also went 2-3 with 2 RBI at the plate.
(No.14) East Jessamine 3 Fleming County 0
An impressive effort by Conner Lindsay hoisted East Jessamine to a 3-0 win over Fleming County on Friday at Harrison County. Lindsay kept contact to a minimum, striking out 14 Fleming County batters. He gave up just one hit over seven shutout innings. Jacob Overstreet racked up two RBIs on one hit for East Jessamine. He doubled in the first inning.

Drew Schacht scattered 4 hits in going the distance on the mound for the complete game shutout. Andrew Barker, Ryan Bale, and Kyle Steele all collected 2 hits each in the win.

Weston Griebel went 2-3 with a triple, and Austin Thompson added 2 hits in the North Laurel win. Logan Mallory scattered 6 hits in going the distance for the complete game shutout.
Elizabethtown 3 Fairdale 2
Zeke Pinkham went 2-4 with a double, and Hunter Sullivan added 2 hits for Elizabethtown. Sullivan earned the win throwing 4 innings, and Cody Sullivan picked up the save with 3 scoreless innings in relief.
Mercer County 11 Garrard County 3
Curry Brown went 2-4 with a home run and 2 RBI, Jon Banks went 2-4 with 4 RBI, and John Ingram, Layne Peavler, and Jackson Stoeckinger each added 2 hits apiece as Mercer County cruised to the win. Ingram allowed 3 earned runs over 4 innings to pick up the win.
Butler 3 Newport Central Catholic 1
Dallas Adkins and Kody Groah each had 2 hits, and Bryce Carden allowed 1 earned runs over 6 innings to pick up the win.
DeSales 7 Bourbon County 5
DeSales scored 3 runs in the top of the 7th for the win. Andrew Beckmann went 2-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Dillon Sievert and Brandon Haag each added 2 hits to lead DeSales. James Davenport allowed 4 earned runs in going the distance with 6 strikeouts.
Morgan County 11 Wolfe County 1 (6 innings)
The Cougars pounded out 13 hits led by Ryan Hanson going 2-4 with a double, and Joey Stamper 2-3 with a double and RBI. Larrin Collins allowed 1 hit and no earned runs over 5 innings. He recorded 6 K’s in picking up the win.
Franklin County 8 Kentucky Country Day 5
Nick Cumpston went 3-4 with 3 RBI, and ach Durham allowed 3 earned runs in 5 innings while striking out 8 to pick up the win. Will Smith and Henry Crockett homered in the loss for KCD.
Danville 5 Fern Creek 0
Danville broke open a scoreless game with 5 runs in the 6th for the victory. Jack Graham fired a complete game 3-hitter with 8 K’s for the win. John Roney had 2 hits, and JB Williams drove in 2 runs.
Scott County 11 Madison Central 0 (5 innings)
Zach Sutherland fired a 5 inning no-hitter to lead Scott County. Ryon Bean went 2-3 with a home run and 2 RBI, and Scott Daniel and Chase Martin each added 2 hits and 2 RBI in the win.
Cumberland County 3 Taylor County 2 (8 innings)
Logan Skipworth worked all 8 innings to pick up the win. The Eastern Kentucky recruit allowed no earned runs and 1 hit while striking out 10 in the extra inning effort.

Apollo 1 Owensboro Catholic 0
Zach Ranburger and Mason Richardson locked up in a classic pitcher’s duel, with Ranburger coming out victorious. The senior fired a complete game 3-hitter with 12 K’s to record the win. Richardson was the hard-luck loser, allowing just 2 hits and striking out 11 in the loss. Apollo won in walk-off fashion on 2 walks and an error in the bottom of the 7th.
Nelson County 4 Washington County 1
Jared Proctor racked up 16 K’s in 6 2/3 innings as Nelson County defeated Washington County.
Kyle Schneider was lights out for Daviess County. The unsigned senior racked up 15 K’s in throwing a complete game no-hitter and also went 2-4 with a triple and home run. Walker Owens tripled and drove in 2 runs, and Jacob Nanney and Jed Arend each added 2 hits.
