Blake Stewart had a 4-4 night at the plate, and Josh Beams added 2 hits for PRP. Austin Beckman allowed 4 hits and threw just 77 pitches in the complete game shutout.
(No.7) Paul Laurence Dunbar 6 Lincoln County 1
Connor Huskey went 3-4 with a double and RBI, and Joey Avioli added a 2-run double. Tyler Brummer threw a complete game 4-hitter with 6 K’s to pick up the win.
(No.8) Bullitt East 7 Scott 0
Bullitt East won a school record 15th consecutive game. Hunter Wood went 3-4 with a double and 4 RBI, and Zac Ching added a double in the win. Tyler Krauth picked up the win on the mound.
(No.9) Lone Oak 7 Heath 3
Fresh off of his KY Player of the Week honors, Sam Goode continued his hot start to the season. The senior allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits over 6 innings of work to pick up the win while also having another 3 hit night at the plate. Austin Drake and Nick Shumaker each added 3 hits apiece as well as Lone Oak remained red hot.
(No.10) Lexington Christian 16 Model 3 (6 innings)
LCA put up 9 runs in the first inning and cruised to the win. Ben Cooper went 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI.Hunter Rowe, Cody Kalinowski, and Graham Smith all drove in 2 runs apiece for LCA. Ryan Bale threw 3 scoreless innings to pick up the win.

Montgomery County 6 (No.17) Madison Central 5
Chas Newkirk went 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, and Jordan Nester drove in 3 runs as Montgomery County pulled off the upset.
(No.23) Ryle 13 Henry Clay 3 (5 innings)
Tyler Lonnemann collected 3 hits and scored 3 runs, and Tyler Mason went 2-4 with a triple and 2 RBI to lead Ryle. Justin Hoard was the winning pitcher, striking out 6 over 4 innings of work.
(No.25) Hazard 11 Knott County Central 0
A trio of unsigned seniors lade Hazard to the easy victory. Austin Johnson went 2-3 with a home run, Jordan Ollinger went 2-3 and hit his 3rd HR of the week (5th of the season), and Evan Whitaker added 3 hits. Class of 2017 pitcher Kameron Conley went the distance for the two-hit shutout.
Kentucky Country Day 6 Atherton 4
Henry Crockett tripled and scored 3 runs, and Will Smith added a double and scored twice in the victory. Casey Klein worked 4 2/3 innings to record the win, while Parker James threw the final 2 1/3 for the save.
Fairdlae 10 Valley 0 (6 innings)
Max Cole and Nolan Cook each had 2 hits to lead Fairdale. Boo Crabtree allowed just 2 hits with 9 K’s in going the distance to pick up the win.
Corbin 4 Jackson County 0
Jacob Metzger went 2-3 with a home run and Taylor Combs added a double in the win for Corbin. Combs allowed 2 hits and struck out 6 over 5 innings of work to pick up the win.
Boyle County 10 Nelson County 1
Conner Blevins went 3-5 with a double and RBI, Austin Chambers went 2-4 with 2 RBI, Brady Wehmiller collected 3 hits, and Casey Whittle blasted a home run to lead Boyle County. Addison Coffey allowed 4 hits over 6 innings with 7 K’s to record the win.
Whitley County 10 Middlesboro 9
Whitley County survived an 8-run 4th inning by Middlesboro to hang on for the win. Cody Lewis had a huge night at the plate, collecting 3 doubles and driving in 2 runs. Jordan Crusenberry added a triple and 2 RBI and threw 2 scoreless innings on the mound.
South Oldham 13 North Oldham 6
Ticorion Williams went 2-2 with a double and 3 runs scored, and Alek Straker added 2 hits and 2 RBI for South Oldham. Noah Frantz shut the door on the North offense, coming on to throw the final 3 innings of scoreless baseball.
Clay County 3 North Laurel 2
Tanner Hoskins scattered 6 hits over 7 innings with 7 strikeouts to pick up the win. Tyler Allen, Nathaniel Huff, and Trevor Sams each collected 2 hits apiece to lead Clay County.
South Laurel 9 Harlan County 1
South Laurel turned a 1-1 game heading into the 6th inning into a blowout by scoring 8 runs over the final 2 innings. Alex Sears went 3-4 with a triple and 3 RBI, and Daniel Neal went 2-4 with a home run and 4 RBI to lead South Laurel to the victory.
Daviess County 3 Calloway County 1
Sean Pedley doubled twice and JJ Poole added 2 hits to lead Daviess County. Freshman Stewart Currie struck out 9 in 5 innings of work to pick up the win.
Murray 8 St. Mary 7 (11 innings)
Zack Grogan and John Ramey each collected 3 hits, and Luke Brown drove in 3 runs as Murray survived in extra innings. Chase Nelson pitched 3 scoreless innings to record the win.
