The 2017 Colorado High School season is underway.  Here is a look at yesterday's action from around the state.

Daily Roundup:

Cherokee Trial 8 Carl Albert 5
The Cougars break into the win column and were led by Michael Morris who went 2-4 with 2 runs and 3 RBI.

Broomfield 12 Silver Creek 0
The Eagles get the 5 inning victory and were led by Matt Turner who went 2-3 with 1 run, 4 RBI and 1 homerun and James Notary who went 1-2 with 2 RBI and added 5 innings on the mound collecting 11 K’s.

Rock Canyon 11 Pine Creek 1
The Jaguars keep rolling and were led by Colton Hill who went 2-3 with 3 runs and 2 RBI and Cayden Zimmerman who was 2-3 with 1 run and 2 RBI.  Matt Givin gets the win going 5 innings giving up 1 ER and striking our 6.

Mountain Vista 5 Arapahoe 1
The Golden Eagles notch another victory and were led by Drew Stahl who was 1-2 with 2 RBI and Grant Magill who went 3-3.  Cole Blatchford gets the win going all 7 innings giving up 1 ER and striking out 5.

Eaglecrest 10 Douglas County 2
The Raptors get the victory and were led by Stillian Balasopoulov who went 2-4 with 1 run and 4 RBI.

Air Academy 15 Roosevelt 1
The Kadets with the run rule victory and were led by Nick Weber who was 2-3 with 2 runs and 3 RBI and Micah Bregard who went 3-3 with 3 runs and 3 RBI.  James Verlinde got the victory going 4 innings giving up 1 hit and striking out 3.

Mountain View 1 Erie 0
The Lions get the victory and were led by  Dylan Norsen who was 1-3 with 1 RBI.  Braden Baker gets the win going 5 innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 8.

Fredrick 12 Arvada 0
The Warriors get the win over Arvada and were led by Trevor Hazlett who went 3-3 with 3 runs and 2 RBI.
