The slate of game in Missouri was still thin yesterday; the southern half of the state has had some success getting on the field, finally. In games played Thursday, March 28:
No. 12 Blue Spring South 4 No. 23 Logan-Rogersville 2
Blue Springs picked up a win in their first game of the season. Reece Eddins struck out 10 while allowing only one hit, an infield single. Dallas Herrmann set the tone for the Jaguars offense going 2-for-4 with a homerun. Jacob Clark also picked up an RBI for Blue Springs South.
No. 19 Clever 6 Pierce City 5
Bryce Wilson drove in three runs for Clever to lead the offense; Chance Wolfe and Ranger Curtis also picked up RBIs for Clever. Tyler Martin picked up the win on the mound.
No. 20 Oran 10 Charleston 1
Seth Ressel pitched and hit his way to lead Oran. At the plate, Ressel went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored while scattering five hits in four and two thirds innings pitched. Kody Moore drove in two and scored two runs.

Lebanon 5 Webb City 4
Brad Archer struck out eight batters in five and a third innings pitched to pick up the win for Lebanon.
Seneca 13 East Newton 1
Seneca picked up their first of two wins on Thursday, slugging their way to a 13-1 victory. Marty Malles led the offense going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored. Colton Webber, Payton Rawlins, and Cade Cornett each collected two RBIs. Rawlins picked up the win, throwing five innings of two hit ball and striking out seven.
Seneca 5 Monett 2
Colton Webber struck out 14 hitters and Payton Rawlings went 2-for-2 with a triple and three RBIs to lead the Seneca offense.
Willard 2 Parkview 1
Justin Atchison shut down the powerful Parkview line-up, scattering four hits and striking out seven in the complete game win. Luke Latham had a homerun for Willard.
Republic 8 Marshfield 3
Nathan Strobel struck out 10 batters in six innings of work for Republic.
Diamond 16 Purdy 6
Ryan Jenkins led the Diamond offense going 3-for-3 with a triple and a homerun. Jeremy Morris picked up the win on the mound.
Cabool 16 Summersville 1
Randy Brill had three hits and Drew Pearson collected a pair to lead the Cabool offense.
Chaffee 14 Kelly 1
Chaffee pounded out 17 hits in slugging their way to a 14-1 victory. Layton Tenkhoff and Cody Payne each had a 3-for-5 game to lead the offense. Cody Johnson struck out eight batters in five innings of work.
Poplar Bluff 7 Cape Central 2
Josh King went 3-for-3 to lead the Mules offense and Wesley Pyles struck out 11 on the mound.
Jackson 8 North County 0
Ryan O’Rear, Kyle James, Lane Thompson, and Trent Wills each collected two hits a piece to power the Jackson offense. Steven Eddy picked up the win.
Malden 12 Advance 2
Tanner Murphy went 3-for-4 with a two run homerun and finished the game with three RBIs.
Malden 16 Hayti 2
Tanner Murphy had a two run homerun and two hits in the second win of the day for Malden.
