DFW Top Prospect Games: Preview

On Wednesday, June 14, some of the top 2018 grads from Texas will meet in Plano, at Prestonwood Christian Academy to attend the Top Prospect Games.
This is an invite only event and is exclusive to the top 2018 prospects from Texas. The showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website, which is subscribed to by more than 800 colleges. Event information including statistics and scouting reports will also be posted on the Prep Baseball Report’s website, at www.prepbaseballreport.com. Top players will be identified and ranked. Players’ edited videos will also be hosted in the players’ profile along with scouting reports and statistics.
2018 3B Cole Johnson will be in attendance. Johnson was a cog in the lineup for Southlake Carroll as they made a deep playoff run this spring. Also in attendance will be one of the top 3-4 offensive combinations from the DFW area this spring in 2018 OF Wilson Galvan, and 2018 SS Jake Smith. These two led the McKinney Lions to a playoff birth and each of them put up solid numbers in 2017. 2018 SS Jack Sigrist from Plano West has a dynamic mix of power and speed for a middle infielder. 2018 RHP Steve Hayward is a 6-foot-5 arm that projects to log significant innings for Marcus High School next season.
