My feeling is that there's a few teams at the end of the first that will see him as a starter. I think a good chunk of teams think he's a long term reliever, but as the old cliche says...it just takes one. Teams like Washington or Baltimore seem to be on him. And any team taking him in the first should see him a starter.

Lewis' offensive profile is what makes him so attractive. Whether he stays at SS, moves to the OF, or wherever, his bat profiles. I can see concerns about the leg kick, but things like that can be adjusted. And he only struck out 7 times this spring against SoCal competition. High school stats aren't a great barometer for the draft, unless you see extremes. If Lewis had struck out 15-20 times, then I'd be more concerned. He has bat speed, power and makes enough contact for me to feel pretty confident in his offense playing at the next level.

I honestly think Vandy should be feeling pretty good on draft day. Nothing against the class. It's a strong one as usual, but there aren't any slam dunks to sign. The highest ranked guy for me is LHP Jake Eder and he's had an inconsistent spring. There is always a chance someone gets popped and signs, because it only takes one team to like you, but if I were a Vandy coach or fan, I'm feeling pretty good about getting most, if not all, these guys to campus.
