Prep Baseball Report hosted a Rising Stars ID event at Creekside on April 19th at Creekside featuring 19 players from the 2026 and 2027 class and players from Kansas, Missouri, and even a player from Nebraska.  The players ran through a traditional showcase featuring bullpens, 60 yard dashes, bp, and positional evaluations.  We take a look today at the top performers from the event.

The top fastball from the event belonged to Hayden Hubbard from the 2026 class at 81 mph with Parker Clubb right behind him at 79 mph and Wesley Brown checking in at 78 mph.  The top fastball from the 2027 class belonged to Finn Moore showing off his potential arm strength at 77 mph.

The top 60 time from the event belonged to Brennan McLaughlin in the 2026 class coming in at 7.11 seconds.  Logan Studer and Owen Underwood both posted impressive 7.26 times from the 2026 class.  Finn Moore also topped the charts in the 2027 class in the 60 coming in at 7.37.

The top exit velocity came from Finn Moore again in the 2027 class at a very impressive 88 mph.  The top exit velocities from the 2026 class were a three-way tie between Brennan McLaughlin, Parker Clubb, and Hayden Hubbard all coming in at 84 mph.

On the defensive side the top arm in the infield came again from Finn Moore showing his all-around impressive game at 82 mph.  Hayden Hubbard led the way for the 2026 infielders at 80 mph.  In the outfield the top arm was posted by 2026 grad Logan Studer at 77 mph with Wesley Brown right behind him at 76 mph.  Parker Clubb had the top velocity from behind the plate at 72 mph with a pop time range of 2.01-2.25 and Logan Studer showing a quick release with a pop time range between 1.99-2.29.
